Ahhhhhh Sundays...

Sundays and I have a love hate relationship... first, Sunday is the day R gives me my Methotrexate shot...I hate that...it burns like a bitch and he's not very good at it...I know, you'd think with the cows he would have perfected the move by now...but he just jabs the needle in like I'm an old bull with tough hide...I yelp every time..even though I vow that the next time I won't.... what a baby... 

Sundays are usually one of our more productive days...no distractions, with every one but us at the lake....nothing good on TV to watch so we get a lot of work done...
Well we used to...now just R does...although today, I did go out very early and water my plants...that took 3 hours...hahahahaha  then I pruned some dead wood off a couple of shrubs and it was already full sun and too hot for me to be outside...so I went and made dinner and then taxied R back and forth while he moved equipment from one field to the next....then I got to come home and actually got a bit of painting done...I haven't painted in a while so it was a nice change...

A big storm blew in around 6 pm...and the dogs were beating down the door to get inside...so I felt sorry for them (it was a pretty frightening storm) and let them in  the back porch...that's where they were when R came home, soaking wet and covered in peat dust...he was seeding some lowland today...he had to ride home in the storm on just the quad...so that is why he was wet...and boy was he wet...threw his clothes in the washer and him in the shower...while I made lunch (we eat a lighter meal in the evening)

The reason I love Sundays is that I can actually be in the house and just relax...no telemarketers calling on Sundays...aaaaaaaahhhhh bliss.
