Banking

R and I were at the bank today.....reworking our loans....making payments and basically crying on our loan managers cold indifferent shoulder...ahahaha

R made me ask the teller for a balance on our farm chequing......Why I don't know....masochism comes to mind...so to counter balance that...I asked for a balance on my savings account...which actually has some funds in it...ahahahahahah  it makes the other balance seem less depressing....I used up my contribution to my tax free savings account....have you got one....they are great.....I heartily encourage you all to start one....See, I don't go on tropical holidays, own an RV have any expensive vices to feed (other than my pocket book obsession)....so I can actually put a bit of money away each month....my first husbands CPP....hahahahah you are thinking I am rich...but it is only 70. per month...ahahahhahaha   it keeps me in book money...

Speaking of books...I took advantage of Chapter's once a year awesome sale...buy three books get the fourth one free.....needless to say...I make a list and clean the shelves off when I go.....R brings a cloth shopping bag...ahahahahah he has learned...but then I don't have to buy a book for 8 months.......I won't get them from a used book store because I hate Harlequin's.....and I haven't got any friends who read the same type of book...I hate murder mysteries....and scary books...   along with my romance novels...I bought a book of Robert W. Service's poetry....I love his work and was re-inspired to read it after Christopher Plumber's recitation during the Canada Day concert in Ottawa.....the spell of the Yukon......powerful stuff....makes me emotional....hahahaha

Another thing I wanted to touch on today was procrastination.....I always thought it was one of the more hideous habits to have...but in one case it actually paid off and I am not sure how to deal with R in the future....when he procrastinates....which is one of his bigger failings...hahahahahaha   I still love him though..... we bought a baler in Feb if you can all remember back that far....in the city... and took it to our friends near there to have him go over it for mechanical problems.....which he did...now he just recently finished ....took long enough...but we didn't appear to be in any hurry he said....so we have been going to pick it up but R just never got his act together....well no need now...this afternoon our friend delivered it....right to the farm.....it took him three hours to drive at 70 km..../hour... all the way out here....wow....now R is gloating that "see, I knew what I was doing all along..."   hahahahahaha  It had become a bit of a joke among some of our other friends...they would always ask if we had our baler home yet and I would always have to say....NO.....and then they would laugh....it is good that we have it here now...as we will have hay to bale on Friday....ahahahahhaa   just in the nick of time....brother..... what are you going to do with a guy like that.....ahahahha
