Red Neck Shakespeer: Wow, I am excited !

Today was the big day...so R woke me up at 6 am...and I wanted to kill him...I was over excited last night and it was 1 am before I finally felt sleepy enough to sleep...I was up at 3 am for a trip to the lou....(which I rarely do during the night) and then my not so subtle wake up call....I wanted to punch him in the face....and then promptly tried to fall back asleep....but he was persistent...and kept bugging me until I did finally punch him in the face...... no I didn't....just joking..but I wanted to...

So I drug myself out of bed at 6:30 am .....and we had breakfast....the two man crew showed up at 8 am from Calgary to install the cabinetry...hahahah I thought the guy was coming from the city but....it was such a big job that the owners son (who runs the factory in Calgary) and his head installer made the trip especially to install it right.... then at 10 am the owner of the company showed up with the door knobs and miscellaneous....and stayed for lunch... I fed them, it wasn't required but it is a farmer thing to do when someone does work for you, the least you do besides pay them is feed them...so we had roast beef and yorkshire's...with warm homemade blueberry pie and ice cream for dessert.

They were here from 8 am til 7 pm....and then they drove back to calgary tonight....they left calgary this morning at 4 am....hahahah they were pretty tired by the time they left....

They have to send one guy back from the Edmonton office to install the back splash and drill one more whole for a electrical cord...but otherwise it is done and beautiful..... I have wanted one of these murphy beds for a long time... and now i finally have one...and so much storage too, that I actually got aroused showing R all the drawers...ahahahahahah he had to go back out to work but said I could show him again later....ahahahahahahhaha

and finally the South east corner where the computer will set up...and of course more storage....ahahahaha never enough storage.

I think the cabinetry actually makes the room seem larger...I mean it is 14' x 16' anyway but now it looks bigger....I guess it is three dimensional now... and once I get it pimped up with some of my homey accents..it will look even better...

So now when you all come to visit I have somewhere other than an air mattress on the floor, for you to sleep... one at a time of course....hahahahah so I have committed myself to staying here a few more years now, at least until it is paid for...hahaha ouch...Oh, don't get me wrong it is all absolutely beautiful but we must be insane...ahahahahah

Now I just have to clean all the dust off in a few days like they said and I can load all the drawers up with office stuff..

It was really funny because last night before we went to bed we watched a couple of episodes of "Hoarders". I had seen a few before but it was R's first time watching one and he was cursing and so totally disgusted...but like a bad accident he couldn't stop watching...ahahahaha so when I had had enough and headed to bed...I flipped the light on in our room and actually gasped....I had forgotten all the clutter in there right now with the stuff from the other room being stored in there...ahahahahaha It actually gave me quite a start.....and I have to admit that I can not wait to get it all back where it belongs....ahahahahha few more days yet.... this is what it looks like in our room...
