Deflated

It's been a while since I wrote... been busy doing this god damned landscaping...hahahahah  I swear the next time I think it would look really nice if we just had a bed here....I will tape my mouth shut...oh my god... I am so exhausted and sore...I can't even express in words just how tired I am...

My day with two friends in the city was a snooze job...we went to the Mutart conservatory...I have been before....but they hadn't...and nothing was any different...one of the ladies is a bit dithery....she has a very poor sense of direction and is constantly wandering off in the wrong one...so I felt like a great Pyrenees dog...herding her along...making sure she didn't stray from the herd....hahahahahaha
I could tell she wasn't all that interested in the plants...she would breeze through each display...( there are four glass pyramids, each displaying a different climate...temperate, tropical, arid and a feature one...this summer it was mermaid motif...) ya that's what I thought too...how lame...anyway...Barb would breeze through  and be waiting for Sherri and I, by the door...she just wanted to get to the shopping part of the day...hahahahah, we didn't have any definite plans for our day other than the Mutart...so when we passed the costco store on our way in...they expressed an interest in going there...I was the only one with a card....It was an eye opening experience.....I must say...

See, I usually go to costco with R and he never lets me look up and down all the rows....we just go to the parts of the store where we buy things and get out....but these ladies wanted to go up and down every row...Now, keep in mind that funds are a bit tight for me right now...I mean, not poor but I have to chose wisely what I spend my money on....and R and I were just in costco at the beginning of the week...so I pushed the cart...and bought a bit of fruit..$49. worth was my share....but my friends went a bit crazy... I tried to temper them back a bit but they were having none of it...and one spent just over $200. and the other $175.  I am sure they would have got way more...but we were just driving a car...so we only had the trunk and one seat to fill...ahahahahha

we had to head home after that because they bought fresh meat....ahahahahaha  not thinking that it was 24 degrees outside and we were two hours from home...I wonder how the meat fared....

I bought supper at my favorite Chinese place...so nothing too exciting happened....

We put the soil in one of our new shrub beds...but not the other one...still have a bit of work to do on that one...
